Better in Pairs

I wasn't interested in adopting a cat but Tygger and Sheba caught my eye. They were friendly and active even though they were older cats. I decided to hold off adopting them because I was going away on business and someone would adopt them. When I returned two months later they were still there, friendly but not as active. I still felt someone else would adopt them. After returning from vacation I saw they were still there. They lifted their heads but the life was gone. They had that hopeless look on their faces. At that moment I had to take them and don't regret a moment of it. Older cats appriciate you adopting them and give more love than a kitten ever could. I currently have six cats and would continue adopting older cats if I had the room.
