Ruby Jane I wanted to get a dog to be a friend for my autistic son,but we got so much more than friendship. Ruby was a "runt" of a litter when we first saw her in front of our local PetSmart.

She was undernourished and had every "new puppy disease." We nursed her back to health and she is the sweetest, most playful dog you could ever ask for. She is my son's only true friend and for that I am forever grateful. She loves going to PetSmart and visiting with every dog and person there. Thank you PetSmart Charities for such a wonderful adoption program!
