I was walking throught PetSmart just to pick up a few incidentals for my cats and my puppy when I stumbled upon a 'Last Chance' adoption event in PetSmart Charities Adoption Center. I just went to look. Immediately, a little orange kitten caught my attention. I asked to hold her and I fell in love. I had to consult my husband so I called him at home. He was on his way within minutes. I thought I was a shoe-in as far as qualifying to adopt because I am such a loving-hair-kid mama but the foster ladies that ran the event really ran me through my paces! I actually appreciated that because one thing I can't stand is neglectful or abusive pet owners. My husband arrived, and he also fell in love with Sally and the rest is history. We adopted her and she has been nothing but a joyful addition to our family. We lost my elder cats and are looking to adopt another. Considering the wonderful experience I had with the event at PetSmart and the selfless nature of the foster mothers, I am definitely going to adopt from them again.
