My Twinkie

I have always had a heart for animals. Right after high school I moved into an apartment and began college. I lived in Worthington, MN and drove to school in Sioux Falls, SD. The apartment building I lived in allowed animals. I really wanted a dog but they were a huge task for me to take care of. Plus, I lived on 7th floor, so it is hard to potty-train dogs when way up upstairs. I thought about it and thought about it. I was talking to students at my college and they told me to stop by the Humane Society. I of course did and fell in love with the cutest dog ever. A daschud named Twinkie. I got to take him out of his kennel to go outside. He played and barked so cute. I never let him go. He came home with me that day. Now, instead of being alone in an apartment, I had my best friend there every day. I got him at 6 months and in Jan of 2008 he will be 2 years old. Dogs are wonderful friends who will love you always!
