My Two Angels

A close friend of mine was moving to Iceland and planned on taking her kitties with her. She moved and left them in a boarding house until she could get them shipped to her in Iceland. She found out the first week she was there that it was going to cost her $7000 to move them, which none of us could afford. So, by her request, I took them to a local rescue group, and I was told they would be put up for adoption. Three days later i recieved a phone call from the group saying that the animals were too violent and could not be adopted out and that I had two days to find them a home or they would be put to sleep. I knew these cats and knew that they were not violent; they just didn't like to be caged and around strage people. So I took my children and picked up both cats from the shelter and brought them home. I already had a cat and a dog, and I didn't expect to fall in love as quickly as I did. My original plan was to bring them home and try to find a home for them myself. They are now a huge part of our family. When their mother comes back to visit from Iceland she will be able to see them. In the meantime, we share pictures of them and stories just as if they were our children.
