I always knew something was missing from my life, but I had no idea what it was. I was 23 years old with a good job and a supportive family, but I needed something more. When my sister adopted a dog of her own, I realized what was missing. After browsing the Internet, I came upon a tiny 5-month-old dog that had been living in a family with several wild young children. Amyz Ark had taken in the little puppy from this busy family who could no longer keep her. I contacted Amyz Ark to see about adopting the little bundle, and the paperwork began. The puppy was brought to my home, and it was then I found out her real story. Minnie had already lived a rough life in just five short months. It turns out the children of the family she was originally living with had abused her while she was there. Although she faced a lot of adversity in the beginning of her little life, she came out on top. She is the spunkiest, sweetest, most loving, lovable and loyal dachsund/chihuahua you could ever imagine! She greets me the instant I come home, and never leaves my side from then on. Once you meet her, there is no doubt you will love her.
