One Step Closer to Helping One Animal at a Time

It all started on March the 4th of 07! I came into Petsmart with every intention of picking up just a doggie collar and left with a void in my heart when I fell in love with a kitty named Ernestine! I was so caught up in how perfect she was.. How perfect they all were but something about her caught my attention! I left that day, knowing we would see each other again! One day had passed and I got a call from Kathy at the Woodville shelter telling me that she was checking everything out! I was so excited that I couldnt even sleep that night! I was so excited about tomorrow being another day and anxiously waiting for a call from Kathy! It finally came Monday, March the 6th! It had been 3 days since I had seen my soon to be new kitty, so I couldn't wait to leave work and pick up this new addition to our family! I finally got there and I had all the emotions that come with getting a new pet. Will she accept me, will she get along with my other pets, will she be okay when I leave her to go to work, do I want to leave her?! All these emotions that so quickly flashed through my head were removed in matter of seconds when the one moment that I had been waiting for all day, getting to see her face! That day my life dramastically changed, for the better! I don't know what I have done without her! It has been almost a week now since I met Erestine and she has made her way into my heart and soul. I couldn't have done all of this without the help of Petsmart Charities or Kathy! So, Thank you for for changing my life and Ernestine's!
