We know that pet adoption is a critical step toward ending needless euthanasia. To that end, we are committed to developing a positive and proactive approach to building adoption programs at the local level.

We partner with thousands of animal welfare organizations in the U.S. and Canada to help support their efforts in finding lifelong, loving homes for homeless pets.

• Saving lives together - More than 400,000 pets find new homes each year through the PetSmart Charities® Adoption Centers located in every PetSmart® store!
• Exposure to the pet-loving public - We provide space to our approved Adoption Partners in PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers. This gives homeless pets the opportunity to meet potential pet parents and maximizes public awareness of pet overpopulation where it is best addressed – locally.
