 Harley, a loving, 10-pound Pekingese-Poodle mix, has new wheels. After suffering a crippling injury, he was put back into his pen without medical treatment. For two months he lived there, his only shade a hole under his dog house that he dug with his two good legs.
J and J's Homeless Pet Rescue took Harley into rescue. He is in the foster home of CG, a volunteer with J and J. CG bought and donated Harley's own set of wheels, which were custom made to fit him by Eddie's Wheels.
Harley took to his new set of wheels within minutes and loves his wheels. His wheels have given Harley new life.
In addition to helping with Harley's special needs CG has been an outstanding volunteer. She fosters three other animals for the rescue, and transports them to the vet when needed. She has also offered the use of her second house for fundraising indoor yard sales for the rescue. Items have been donated by the public and are set up inside this 3 bedroom rancher. The house is opened up on a monthly basis to raise much needed money. We are not sure what we would do without CG's dedication to help the animals.
