and individuals to learn more about current animal welfare-related topics
such as grant funding, foster programs, volunteering and adoption.

expenses! All you need is a phone to call our toll-free conference number.
If you have an Internet-connected computer, you also can:
- View the accompanying Microsoft® PowerPoint® slides
- "Raise your hand" virtually to ask a question
- Chat with other participants
- Download slides and handouts
Renowned individuals in the animal welfare field present different topics
every month. Previous presenters have included:

You will have a chance to make sure your computer will work fine with
the Webinar interface. If you don't have a technological bone in your
body, don't worry. We can help. For assistance, call Robin Mason at
1-800-738-1385, ext. 2487.
After Registration:
We will give you instructions on how to join the Internet version of
the conference, as well as how to join via phone. It is best to do both,
but without the phone connection, you can't hear the speakers. So if
your computer and phone share one phone line, and you don't have a cell
phone to use, plan on participating via phone only.
If you are going to participate via phone only, call Robin Mason at 1-800-738-1385,
ext. 2487 for more information.
During the Webinar:
You'll be able to hear the speakers via your call to the toll-free number
provided to you during registration for the free Webinar. You'll be able
to see the PowerPoint presentations in real time via the Web site. Use
the Web address that you received during registration.
When the Webinar is taking place, if you are able to view the PowerPoint
presentation, you will notice that there is an ongoing chat with all
the Webinar participants beside or below the PowerPoint presentations.
The speakers see the chat also so you can let the speaker know immediately
if you don't understand something, have a question or simply have a comment.
Plus, you can comment on what other participants are saying. It is a
fun and interactive atmosphere, and you'll have a great time while learning
a lot!
Helpful Tip:
To get the full benefit of the Webinars and ensure you can truly enjoy
the virtual learning and participation, please make efforts to limit
any outside distractions during the time you are participating in a
Webinar. If you are at work, let your co-workers know that you are
unavailable for any interruptions during the conference and that
they should consider you out of the office. PetSmart Charities has
developed a charming door hanger to communicate to your co-workers
that you are participating in a Webinar. If you would like
one, please let us know! Better yet, consider making this a group
event and gather several co-workers to join you in your office for
the conference.
Don't miss this opportunity! Get networked, informed and rejuvenated...
without the hassle and expense of travel.
