donation helps us support the efforts of over 3,400 animal welfare agencies
that save homeless pets' lives. PetSmart Charities funds spay/neuter
programs and other innovative new programs that use technology, creativity
and compassion to reduce pet over population.
PetSmart Charities receives the highest rating of four stars from Charity Navigator because we manage our finances in a highly efficient and effective manner. In 2006, 89 cents of every dollar raised by PetSmart Charities went to the 3,400 animal welfare agencies we support.

funding adoption rewards to animal welfare agencies for adoptions,
or grants for emergency relief, spay/neuter programs and capacity
building programs. This fund also supports our educational programs
which provide free online seminars to animal welfare agencies in

their immediate needs for food and supplies during natural disasters
(i.e. Hurricanes, Floods, and Fires) as well as manmade disasters

Just a Buck, Change Their Luck is our twice-annual general fundraising campaign
held in all U.S. and Canadian PetSmart retail stores and online. During this
campaign, donors who contribute at certain levels receive gifts with collectible
artwork as a thank you for their support. Learn more

Support the operation of our transport program which picks up dogs
from overcrowded shelters in the Midwest, Northeast and Great Plains
and safely delivers them to shelters with a need for more adoptable
dogs. The program also provides supportive spay/neuter grants to
