Emergency Relief Sent to Rat Hoarding Case
(January 11, 2011) —PetSmart Charities® was a critical partner in a recent emergency relief effort of a pet rat hoarding situation in California. We provided an estimated retail value of $42,000 in supplies to help more than 2,000 small animals. We sent food, multi-level cages, water bottles, food bowls, bedding, chew sticks, and exercise pens for small animals.
Our efforts were featured in on episode 41 of the A&E television series “Hoarders.”
