PetSmart Charities Grants Awarded in April 2013 - In April, PetSmart Charities granted over $1.5 million to 145 animal welfare organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Grant aims to spay/neuter 10,000 puppies and kittens in June 2013 - Approximately 34% of dogs and cats in U.S. households are not spayed or neutered, yet the procedure is one of the most effective ways to prevent the birth of unplanned pets.
