Adopting Saves Lives
Adoption is the answer to ending pet homelessness. For every pet adopted, we make room for another to take shelter while awaiting a lifelong, loving home. Many people are surprised to hear that most shelters have purebreds waiting for adoption, and the vast majority of shelter animals are lovable.

Spaying/Neutering is Key
Spaying/neutering curtails overpopulation and homelessness by preventing the birth of unwanted pets. Consider that for every pet we spay/neuter, we keep approximately 55 unwanted puppies or kittens from potentially entering a shelter.
